Six Individuals Detained After €12 Million Armed Raid on Precious Metals Facility in the French Republic

A team of six suspects using assault rifles and handguns employed explosives to breach the security of a gold treatment facility located in Lyon, France, resulting in minor injuries to five workers during what is being called the newest significant broad daylight robbery to hit France.

The audacious robbery was carried out on Thursday late morning, with police forces quickly arresting the individuals believed responsible and securing the stolen items assessed at around €12 million (£10.5 million), officials reported.
