JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an brand-new film. Instead, the recent film from the Jujutsu Kaisen supernatural series serves as a collection of the show's sophomore season combined with the initial episodes of its third season, which kicks off the Culling Games storyline from the manga series. This makes Execution, which just got a fresh preview, the earliest way to watch the beginning of the forthcoming season ahead of its premiere in early 2026. The feature launches in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in North American regions on December 5.

The Culling Games Arc

In the Culling Games storyline, Elite sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu is introduced in the television series and is tasked by sorcery authorities to execute his peer Yuji Itadori. Their highly anticipated battle takes place for the initial time on the big screen, and if the animation team at the studio have something as special as installments 40 and 41 waiting in the wings for audiences this end-of-year period, JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution may prove to be the surprise that everyone has hoped for.

The Thunderclap Debate

"Thunderclap episodes" from season two is widely regarded as a top-tier scene in the history of anime, in spite of the significant debate in last year when the installments originally aired. People eagerly awaited to see if the Blu-ray, made available on March 18, would include new footage to the battle or to see if it was polished at all, and were thrilled to see exactly that, alongside color corrections, more motion, and altered color palette.

If Mappa wants to kick off the year perfectly, revisit the series' best moment once again in cinemas with the ultimate presentation we've seen yet.
